Rangers beat SouthEnd, Ma Pau held by StarsSecond half goals by Josimar Belgrave and Kaashif Thomas secured a 2-1 comeback win for St. Ann’s Rangers over FC SouthEnd on Saturday in their final Round One fixture at the Marvin Lee Stadium.

SouthEnd had the early lead with midfielder Kelvin Modeste netting finding the back of the net in the 10th minute before conceding the second half pair of goals giving Rangers maximum points.

Rangers moved a spot up into eight on the 2010 Digicel Pro League standings with nine points while SouthEnd remains 10th with 6 points after Round One.

In the second clash at the Macoya venue Ma Pau SC and DIRECTV North East Stars played to a goalless draw.

Ma Pau now with 17 points remained fourth and Stars in seventh with 11 points.

Round One will wrap up on Monday with Caledonia AIA of Morvant/Laventille(6th) hosting Tobago United(9th) from 4pm at the Marvin Lee Stadium.

Defence Force leads the standings with maximum 30 points, defending champions Bmobile Joe Public are 11 points behind in second with 19, followed by W Connection and Ma Pau both with 17 points and San Juan Jabloteh in fifth with 15 points.
