TTFF REFEREES COMMITTEE SEEKING TO RECRUIT NEW BLOOD IN THE NORTH ZONE
The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation Referees Committee is embarking upon a training/recruitment programme for persons interested in learning the Laws of the Game.
The North Zone will be hosting this introductory course as part of its referee’s recruitment drive. The course will commence on Saturday 30th June 2012 at the East Mucurapo Secondary, Mucurapo Road, St. James, over the next 6 Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. The training/recruitment exercise is FREE to all participants.
The TTFF Referees Committee noted that this would be a great benefit to teams as they would be able to:
1. Have a proper understanding of the laws of the game
2. Have qualified individuals in the situations where the teams may be required to provide assistance on the line etc.
The drive is aimed at increasing the number of referees available to service the various competitions.
They also recommended teams from the respective zones send representatives to attend the course as the players and team management would also gain from the information which will be shared.
The TT Pro League welcomes the initiative and supports the effort of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation’s Referee’s Committee to improve this area of the sport.
