Jevaughn Humphrey starred with a beaver-trick last Sunday, helping his W Connection Under-17 side to a 5-4 win over hosts Police FC in 2017 Flow Youth Pro League action at the St. James Barracks outside field.

But the Under-13 sides of San Juan Jabloteh and Defence Force were the biggest winners as it rained goals in Caroni and Maracas.

The little lads of Jabloteh defeated St. Ann’s Rangers 12-0 at Frederick Settlement Ground, while simultaneously at the Maracas Recreation Ground, Defence Force were celebrating a 10-1 win over hosts Morvant Caledonia United, who, like Rangers, bowed to their 12th straight loss from as many games this season.

Terrell Gibson scored half his Defence Force U13 team’s goals by lashing home his 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th goals this season. Teammate Joshua Mason, with a second-half hat-trick, took his tally to 19 goals while Darion Marfan snatched a double, scoring on either side of the break.

For Jabloteh’s U13s, the division’s leading scorer Nathaniel James finished with a hat-trick to put his tally at 25 goals, while Jaheim Faustin, Nkosi Ambrose and Israel Joseph each scored a double against their Rangers counterparts. Isaiah Moreno, Trevlon Weeks and Kanye Baker, with a first half penalty, also had a goal each for the second-positioned Jabloteh.

Jabloteh, who went on to also defeat Rangers 1-0 and 3-1 in the Under-15 and Under-17 match-ups to maintain their places at the top of those divisions, continue to trail U13 leaders Police by three points.

Police U13s, undefeated this season, maintained their lead at the top by edging W Connection 2-1 for their 12th win from 13 outings.

Jaden Grant’s late item wasn’t enough for Connection after earlier goals by Nathaniel Carrim and Fabien Ayres had cushioned Police.

Jesus Delicia second-half double lifted Police U15s to a 3-2 win over W Connection.

But Humphrey stopped Police from completing a hat-trick on the day, netting his four goals in the second half to hand Connection a come-back victory.

Police were leading three goals to one before Humphrey turned the game around with an uninterrupted beaver-trick.
