Police Fc vs Club Sando U18/reserve

Club Sando Steals 3 Points from Police FC

Club Sando’s Junior Asson stole 3 points from Police Fc with a stunning lone goal at the Police Barracks vs Police Fc in their U18/Reserve fixture on Sunday 1 May leading  Club Sando’s to its  inevitable victory.

Club Sando with the first attempt of the match, with Malik De La Rosa,  shot straight at Police goalkeeper with his first attemp which the goalkeeper had very little trouble saving.

The slippery surface made it difficult to adapt throughout the match. The Police goalkeeper making a poor clearance from a back pass saw  Kevan Cummerbatch latched  onto the loose ball and drove  his shot wide across the goalpost.

Police Fc had the experience of Todd Ryan in their midfield who helped  control the game and sprayed around his passes on the field. Police the more dangerous in the first half,  looked more likely to score, and came close from a Todd Ryan free kick hitting the cross bar of Club Sando goal.

Police continued  with the greater  possession of the ball, but found it hard to penetrate the Club Sando defence who were  equipped for the challenge. Despite Police possessing the ball more,  Club Sando got the better chances to score.  Israel Williams of Club Sando  free kick was saved diving to his left  by Police goalkeeper, who set the wall poorly.

Police replied  with a  diving header just going over the bars from Giovanni Abraham about 8yards out. Kurdel Brathwaite for Police with a low powerful strike about 20 yards away, saw Club Sando goalkeeper diving brilliantly to his left to keep the score level -  so the game will stay going into the second half.

The second half started with end to end action but none of the teams was able to break the deadlock. Eventually Police defender lost concentration and failed to make a decision quickly enough. Junior Asson stole the ball from under his nose and totally wrecked  the two remaining defenders with his fancy dribbling skill and a prolific shot in the roof of the net for the lone goal of the game.

Police Fc pressing for the equalizer at all cause, but Club Sando kept focus and shot the Police team out , leaving the Police team with a disappointing 1-0 defeat.
