Connection, Stars chase a top three finishDefence Force have already clinched the 2012-2013 Digicel Pro League championship, and Caledonia AIA the runners-up position, which leaves just the third position up for grabs on the final day, Friday 10 May.

Dethroned DIRECTV W Connection, last season's League winners, occupies third position, but only ahead of fourth positioned North East Stars with a better goals difference.

Connection are against 6th positioned Police FC at the Ato Boldon Stadium, and at the Marvin Lee Stadium North East Stars will challenge a tougher opponent in 5th positioned Central FC. Both matches kicking off at 6pm.

Connection enjoys the best form at the moment, recently qualifying for the 2013-2014 CONCACAF Champions’ League, winning the Lucozade Sport Goal Shield Final last week, and defeated eventual League winners Defence Force 4-0 on Monday.

Meantime the Stars, the defeated Goal Shield finalist 4-3 on penalties following a goalless draw, hammered bottom of the table T&TEC FC 5-0 with all goals scores in the final 12 minutes of play. But Central’s confidence picked up a boost on Monday after defeating Caledonia 2-1.

And let's not forget that Defence Force (43 points) and Caledonia (39 points), both coming off defeats and would definitely want to end the championship on a winning note.

Caledonia are against seventh positioned St. Ann's Rangers from 8pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium, and Defence Force against cellar positioned T&TEC, simultaneously at the Marvin Lee Stadium.
